Streaming for Humanity’s Mission is to bring original educational content to students and families worldwide, spreading the magic of head, heart, and hands learning.
Our curriculum and our teachers are dedicated to inspiring joy and meaningful work with every lesson, calling forth each child’s unique gifts so they can grow into their authentic purpose. Making Waldorf-inspired and life-giving learning accessible to children and their families all over the world, our ethos is founded on expanding perspectives and celebrating cultures throughout our curriculum so that every student may see themselves in the stories and find meaningful nods to their locality in the lessons and activities.

Our story started in 2015 in Orlando, FL when we were seeking a Waldorf education for our own children and did not find what we were looking for locally or online. We started our first homeschool enrichment program with a group of amazing teachers and students. Students would attend one day a week for gardening, yoga, science, music, art, drama, and language arts.
We grew from 19 students to over 50 students in six months. We offered a second day to our program the following year and grew to almost 100 students. Realizing the great need for Waldorf-inspired homeschool programs, we opened several more over the next few years. We offered consultations to people across the United States, teaching them how to open these programs for homeschoolers. The friends and memories we made along the way are forever treasured.
In 2021, opened our online program, Lotus & Ivy, that would make this type of education accessible to even more people. Lotus & Ivy continues to offer live and interactive virtual classes to students on 5 continents, using a virtual classroom environment with a live Waldorf teacher.
Streaming for Humanity came to being when we continued to hear from folks all over the world who could not attend our live classes at Lotus & Ivy because of their time zone or financial constraints.
We believe Waldorf education has a remarkable impact on students, on their inner being, their confidence, and their life path. Making it available to more students who would otherwise not have access to it is our mission. We are blessed by a community of gifted and magical Waldorf teachers who share this vision with us.
Learning is a natural process that is necessary for a full and meaningful life. Dreaded learning, boring learning, dry learning, pressured learning, stressful learning, lackluster learning – what a poor way to spend hours, days, and years of one’s life.
